Building a CV
Use the first link
below to see 3 possible ways on each section of her cv in
which Sarah could present her information. Choose one of those
options, the one you think would be most effective on Sarah's
CV, based on what you know about her, the HR job she's
applying for, and on the advice
you've just read. And, having thought about all of that and
chosen an option for Sarah, you have a step by step opportunity
to note down any thoughts and ideas for your own CV at the
bottom of the page.
Once you've chosen all your options for Sarah and
created a full CV for her, you'll be able to see three different
versions of the complete CV, with comments - and you can think
about how those match with your own choices. And on top of
all that, and most importantly, you should also have good
material to put into your own CV - and all in a relatively
short space of time!
Alternatively, you
could go straight to the three completed CVs, but we would
recommend that you do the building exercise first if you really
want to learn how to do it for yourself.
**Note that you can
receive help and advice from your own university careers service
at any time**
