QUESTIONS

**Note that you can receive help and advice from your own university careers service at any time**

You need to think about possible questions - and your answers

You cannot predict all the questions you will be asked but by reading through the job description/person specification and your CV and identifying the key areas you can usually anticipate most of them. The main thrust of the questions is likely to be why you want this job and why the employer should recruit you. The latter will usually be broken down into a series of constituent question often focusing on specific skills and experiences. Even if you are going for a technical job, expect questions which assess your personal and business skills.

It is dangerous to presume you will be asked specific questions but the following list addresses some of the more frequently asked ones.
