Why do you want to work for us?

Read through whatever information you can get on the organisation such as their website, recruitment brochure, Annual Report, publicity materials. Find out:

• Who they are
• What they do
• How they are structured - are they divided into several divisions, are they national or international, do they have a flat or pyramid staff structure?
• What is unique/good about the service product they offer?
• What has happened recently to them or their sector e.g. takeovers, mergers, new products, markets etc?
• What is attractive about them e.g. career progression, training, varied experience, travel overseas, leading edge technology, innovation, market position, ethos
