Job Search Strategy
There are 3 steps to developing a job search strategy
1. Define your objectives - type of work,
industry sector, type of company, location and timescale
2. Decide which methods of job search will
work best
3. Apply this to a timescale taking into
account closing dates and other commitments such as examinations,
holidays
The table below represents a possible strategy.
Target Jobs:
Marketing Trainee: Financial Services industry or manufacturing.
Ideally companies with a national profile but also Small and
Medium Enterprises
Information Technology: software trainee or business analysis
Location:
preferably West of Scotland but able to consider Central
Belt
