How your Careers Service can help you:

This will vary depending on which university you are attending but may include:

  • Information resources on CVs, applications and interviews including reference books, take away literature and online resources
  • Workshops or seminars run by the Careers Service
  • Access to a Careers Adviser for advice on effective applications
  • Mock interviews to help you increase your effectiveness at interview

What your Careers Service won't do:

  • Write your CV or application form for you
  • Check your spelling and grammar on CVs and application forms
  • Contact employers or course providers on your behalf
