Communication 1

Communication Process
We are bombarded with information every day. The sheer volume means we cannot take it all in and so we tend to be selective.

To communicate effectively, you need to make sure your message is selected by the intended recipient.

You must make your message relevant to the recipient:

  • If it is relevant - it is processed

  • If it is not relevant - it is rejected

Information processing
Every day we are bombarded with information received through our senses. This interaction shows a 'video wall' of images and sounds (people talking, a public speech, a rocket launch, a busy city street, a countryside scene) from which the viewer can pick up different elements of information.
